We departed Halifax 10/5 under grey skies but no rain. We hugged the coast going first to Peggy's Cove.

Then to Hubbard's, a must photo stop.

Then on to Blandford, Chester and Mahone Bay.

We crossed the peninsula mid way down to get to the Bay of Fundy side and the Annapolis valley. The grey sky began letting up as we headed toward Annapolis Royal.

We decided that we had had enough of no email and we were going to make a run on Saturday to get us close enough to cross back into the US on Sunday.
Sat we were blessed with a bright blue sky once the fog burned off. The first stop was just north of Canning at a spot called "The Lookoff".

Then to Windsor to see the salt marsh and then to the Fundy Tidal Interpretive Center. The Tide in the Bay of Fundy changes the depth of the water by 55 FEET twice a day from low to high tide.

We then hit the highway and got to Sussex, New Brunswick so we can easily reach Bar Harbor Maine tomorrow. There we will spend 3 or 4 day exploring Acadia National Park.
We found this campground, and they were closing for the season tomorrow. Large facility run by folks in their 80's. The bathroom were setup like individual bathrooms in an apartment. Shower, toilet, sink, vanity in a private room, two in each side of the bathhouse for men and women. Easily the nicest of the trip.
